The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) have been emerging as one of the top teams in the ongoing 11th edition of the cash-rich league. The Punjab based franchise is currently standing at the third position in the IPL 2018 points table. The team that underwent monumental changes in the IPL 2018 players’ auction and as a result of that they have unearthed new match-winners like KL Rahul, Chris Gayle and Karun Nair with the bat, whereas young Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman has been a revelation alongside Andrew Tye and Ankit Rajpoot with the ball.

With the team recently shifting its home ground from the PCA stadium, Mohali to the Holkar Stadium in Indore for a few matches, the co-owner Preity Zinta took the opportunity to visit Khajrana Mandir — the famous Lord Ganesha temple — in the city.

It is a well-known fact that Indian cricket team’s deputy skipper in Tests, Ajinkya Rahane never misses visiting the Khajrana Mandir whenever he is in Indore. Now, this time, the Bollywood actress also decided to pray for the Lord’s blessings. But her attempt to visit the temple with her head covered in a scarf (to avoid getting noticed by fans) did not work, as the priest not only identified her but also made a social media post after obtaining the CCTV footage of Zinta’s visit.

In the video, Preity Zinta can be seen offering her prayers to Lord Ganesha, but at the same time, she was identified by those who were around her in the temple.

The Bollywood actress could also be seen requesting the fans not to create a commotion. She was reportedly accompanied by only one security guard in her visit to the temple. However, her visit become successful as well, as on Sunday KXIP defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 6 wickets with an over to spare.
