Currently, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) are locking horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) for the first time in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. After winning the toss, the DC skipper Shreyas Iyer asked the host to bat first the chances of some due in the latter half of the innings. However, RR started on a rough note as they lost Sanju Samson 2 over of the game itself.

During the toss, the RR skipper, Steve Smith revealed that they have made no changes to the winning squad. On the other hand, DC had made a change in their squad as Chris Morris came back in place of the young Sandeep Lamichhane.

Samson got out before facing a delivery in the game as Ajinkya Rahane played the complete first over of and took a single off the final ball. On the very first ball of the second over, Samson got out owing to a brilliant throw by Kagiso Rabada.

Rahane pushed the ball back to the bowler’s right. Who was quick to it despite having to change direction, turned and threw the ball at the non-striker’s end which ended up in the stumps getting shattered and the diving Samson was seen short of his ground. Rahane had taken off with the shot but by the time he refused the single, Samson had responded after Ajinya’s call as he came half-pitch down and it was impossible for him to return, but one has to say that it was a brilliant presence of mind from Rabada.
