The young IPL sensation Rashid Khan was undoubtedly the best performer for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the second qualifier which was played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) out of the tournament. The sensational leg-spinner from Afghanistan did everything that his captain was expecting from him to do in a must-win game and single-handedly took his team to the final where they will face against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday.

While Rashid has earned a lot of respect with his on-field heroics, the video of him refusing to have Champagne during the celebration has been going viral. After such a brilliant performance, there were grand celebrations happened at the team hotel and no wonder the talented leg-spinner grabbed the centre stage.

The Afghan leggie was made to cut the cake with a congratulatory message written on it for the SRH and then he received a cake facial which has become a trend nowadays. While the celebrations were in progress, the Sunrisers member offered him a Champagne and Rashid immediately said a big ‘NO’ to have it.

Rashid Khan is a religious individual and promoting or endorsing alcohol brand is forbidden in Islam, forget touching or drinking it. The video of the same is going viral and deserves all the appreciations coming his way. This is not the first time when a cricketer has refused to have alcohol during the celebrations after the victory. The likes of Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, and even Hashim Amla have never endorsed an Alcohol brand and they also stay away from the team during the celebrations.

CSK and SRH are expected to set the stage on fire in the final of the tournament. Both the teams were at the top of the points table while entering the playoffs. They have been playing some consistent cricket throughout the season and the spectators at the Wankhede Stadium will be surely treated with a humdinger on Sunday.
