The renowned sports brand, PUMA had started a three-run challenge and now it’s getting popular each passing day on various social media platforms. Different cricketers have been taking part in the challenge and posting the time they took to complete 3 runs between the wicket. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s(SRH) Rashid Khan is the latest entrant in the bandwagon.
The mystery leg-spinner hailing from Afghanistan took 10.50 seconds to complete the challenge. He further nominated his teammates, Sachin Baby and Bipul Sharma, to further take up the challenge.

Shakib Al Hasan had earlier nominated Rashid for the three runs challenge. While he did defeat Rashid in this forte, the difference was very narrow to actually call it a defeat. Shakib had managed to complete his three runs in 10.17 seconds. The Bangladeshi all-rounder though conceded that his stiff back hadn’t helped his cause.
Here’s what he posted on Instagram: “10.17 sec is my fastest in #3RunsChallenge @evinlewis17 You were lucky to win as I was a bit stiff. @rashid.khan19 let’s see if your running has the same punch as your bowling #NewLevels@PUMAIndia #PUMA #IPL2018”.

The SRH spinners have been doing some amazing work for their team this year. Both have been applying the brakes to the opposition batting lineup. While Rashid has taken 16 wickets this season, his counterpart Shakib is not far behind with a tally of 13 wickets to his name in 14 games.
The Sunrisers will be locking horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the first Qualifier of the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday. Both teams will play at the Wankhede stadium with the winner booking a berth in the finals. The loser will get another chance in the second Qualifier against the winner of the Eliminator.
Recently, Puma’s brand Ambassador, Virat Kohli also took part in the challenge:
