Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant made headlines in recent times with his stunning performance. His fitness regime too has come in the news ever since he has returned to the team against Australia after the Indian Premier League 2020. Along with his performance, his fitness too has earned a lot of praises.

Recently, He shared a video n Instagram where he can be seen doing headstand push-ups in one of his gym sessions with ease as well.

However, Rishabh Pant has been named as the first-choice wicketkeeper for India’s upcoming tour of England, which includes the inaugural World Test Championship final against New Zealand and then five Tests against England. Notably, after the IPL in the UAE, he had lost his place in the Indian team across formats. Despite having travelled to Australia, he was benched for the first Test in Adelaide as Wriddhiman Saha was chosen over him.

However, after the loss in the series opener, India bounced back and Pant had returned to the playing XI. Pant did exceptionally well and proved his mettle with his stunning knocks, which included the heroic 89 not out in India’s series win at the Gabba.

However, he led Delhi Capitals this season in the absence of their regular captain Shreyas Iyer and they finished at the top spot before the league got suspended before the deadly virus COVID-19 has breached the bio-bubble and the players and support staff got affected as well.

“We were hard on him. Nothing comes easy. He was told in no uncertain terms that he has got to respect the game a little more. ‘He has got to lose a bit of weight and he has got to work on his keeping’,” Shastri had earlier said.
“He is a genuine match-winner and he has responded. He has worked like hell over the last 3-4 months and the results are showing,” he again shared as well.
