Rajasthan Royals player Riyan Parag has been in news for quite some time now, be it for his Bihu dance or his selfie celebration with Rahul Tewatia. While fans love his gesture, he gave another reason to love him recently. However, he has recently shown a glimpse of his mimicry skill to the world by perfectly copying former India cricketer Virender Sehwag’s expressions while batting.

Meanwhile, Riyan Parag was playing a guessing game with his teammate Shreyas Gopal where he had to act without speaking and Gopal had to guess the player’s name. And, soon after Sehwag’s name came, Riyan Parag tried to copy the batting style of the cricketer with his expressions. When Gopal failed to answer in a couple of tries, Parag then mimicked the way Sehwag used to do after scoring a boundary and this helped the leg-spinner guessed the name of the player correctly.

However, Rajasthan Royals posted the video of this on their official social media handle by tagging Virender Sehwag with the caption, “Kaisa laga, @virendersehwag?”.

As far as the game is concerned, Riyan Parag hasn’t been in a good shape in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). He has played all six matches so far but scored only 63 runs at an average of 15.75. With the ball, he has picked only one wicket so far and he is likely to improve his performance in the coming days as well.

Rajasthan Royals too didn’t have a great campaign in the IPL 2021 so far. They have so far played six games and have won only two as well. Moreover, they are not getting the service of their key players like Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Liam Livingstone and Andrew Tye. However, they will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday, May 2.

After their last defeat against Mumbai Indians, captain Sanju Samson said: “Surely, a few runs short, maybe around 20-25 runs short. We were going on nicely (with the bat), but didn’t finish well. The bowlers have been doing their job well, but as batsmen, we need to get them a good score to defend. It was a good wicket, the ball was coming on nicely and they (MI) batted really well, as a team, we will need to score more runs as a batting group. Trust yourself, play positive and fearless cricket – that’s all one should do.”
