The veteran Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja has witnessed some crazy change in his fortunes in the last one year or so as he has become one of the crucial cogs of the Indian team across the formats. He has been good at taking wickets but more than that, it’s the miserly economy rate that has often been the hallmark of his spells.
Apart from his pin-point bowling, Jadeja has been brilliant with his batting as well. But when it comes to fielding, this man makes sure to give his all. Now in the ongoing 2nd ODI clash between India and New Zealand at the Eden Ark in Auckland, the perfect fielder produced yet another display to prove his worth as a fielder and made sure to run-out his Kiwi counterpart James Neesham in style.

In the 35th over which was beeing bowled by Navdeep Saini, Ross Taylor played the second ball towards the backward point and Neesham called for a quick single. Jadeja collected the ball cleanly and hit the target at the striker’s end to send Neesham back with a direct hit.
Here is the video of the dismissal:

In the must-win game for India, the skipper, Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl first. But Kiwi openers Martin Guptill and Henry Nicholls laid a solid foundation for the hosts with a 93-run stand, then Indian bowlers kept on taking wickets on regular interval as from a commanding position of 142/1 the hosts came down to 197/8.

Team India was increasingly close to bowling out New Zealand for a total of less than 250, following a spectacular performance on the field, but Ross Taylor had some other plans and he added 76 runs for the 9th wicket along with the debutant, Kyle Jamieson. New Zeland finished their quota of 50 overs with the tally of 273/8.
Seeing the run-out has got netizens excited.
A spell of 1/35 in 10 overs when the heat was on, a crucial run-out & the best economy rate after Bumrah since September 2018 (his return). Tough to beleive India thought they didn’t need Ravindra Jadeja in ODIs for a whole year after the ’17 Champions Trophy #NZvIND @cricbuzz

Jadeja has done all the things he can do on a cricket field and still some believe he isn't good enough to be in the playing XI. I think the only way Jadeja can shut them is if he plays higher in the batting order which he is completely capable of. #NZvIND
