The Hitman went on to notch up an important half-century for his team, which stabilized their innings after the early hiccups.
Rohit scored 63 runs off 52 balls, where he hit five fours and two sixes. He got a good ally in Suryakumar Yadav as they shared a crucial 79 runs for the third wicket. However, Sharma couldn’t give his team the final flourish to propel them to a match-winning score. He got out in the 18th over to Mohammed Shami.
