Moises Henriques was bowling the opening over of the innings can have Sharma caught behind only to be reviewed by the MI skipper. Earlier, Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan found the going tough and threw their wickets cheaply. Punjab Kings were bowling well in the powerplay and restricted MI to just 21 runs in the first six overs – the lowest of this season. However, the defending champions somehow reached 131/6 in 20 overs to post a competitive total on the board.
