Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee and legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar were the most popular rivals during their playing days. The duo had many memorable matches playing for their respective nations, but that hatred has only been limited to the field. Off the field, they are not just friends, in fact, they often used to hang out together during their playing days and has continued post-retirement as well.
During one such hangout, Sachin throws a challenge at Lee with a change from the mainstream rivalry on the pitch, Tendulkar took the Aussie for a go-karting race, late one night at his restaurant in 2006. The master-blaster beat him comfortably but Lee is back after 11 years to take his revenge. On his recent visit to Mumbai Lee organized a re-match and challenged the Mumbaikar.
The 41-year-old former pacer also revealed that he has played several other sports with Sachin like table tennis, pool but when it comes to go-karting, Tendulkar always wants to win. The race started in Lee’s favor but in the end, it was Tendulkar, who once again had the last laugh.
