Arjun is currently with Mumbai Indians, who snapped his services on his base price of INR 20 lakh. However, he is yet to make his IPL debut. He, though, has played for Mumbai in domestic cricket.

Speaking of this edition of the tournament, it was marred by the Covid-19 pandemic in May this year due to a spate of Covid-19 cases emerging inside the bio-secure environment made for the teams and was subsequently postponed before resuming in the UAE for completing the 31 remaining matches.

Mumbai Indians started the second leg with two defeats in a row. Chennai Super Kings put a fine comeback show in the first game and won the match by 20 runs. Kolkata Knight Riders, then, put a fine display against their nemesis and won the match by seven wickets with 29 balls in hand. Hence, further jeopardizing MI’s chances to qualify for the playoffs.

MI are defending champions as they won two consecutive seasons in quite a dominant fashion. They, however, will try to turn things around and make their way to the playoffs this time as well.
