Currently, the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are battling it out to stand a chance to reach the final of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After winning the toss, the DC skipper, Shreyas Iyer decided to bowl first citing the sticky condition of the pitch and soon he got reward As Ishant Sharma dismissed Wriddhiman Saha in the 4th over itself.

During the toss, the SRH skipper, Kane Williamson told that they have made just one change in their squad as Deepak Hooda came back in to replace Yusuf Pathan. On the other hand, DC also made just one change in their squad as Colin Munro replace Colin Ingram.

However, a funny incident took place during the toss, Iyer couldn’t manage to control his eagerness. Commentator Sanjay Manjrekar was still giving the introductory speech, Iyer tossed the coin up, but Williamson and Manjrekar intervened and caught the coin while mid-air. Manjrekar then said that the toss will not be counted.

Then the coin was flipped again after the speech was done and Delhi won it and opted to bowl first going by the trends of the league. The team that wins the match will play Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Qualifier 2 for a place in the finals with Mumbai Indians (MI).

SRH started off well as they amassed as many as 54 runs in the powerplay itself out of which 35 were scored by Martin Guptill itself. However, he was dismissed by Amit Mishra soon after the powerplay was finished.
