Daredevils beat KKR by 55 runs and the chief architects of the win were newly-appointed skipper Shreyas Iyer, who hit a marvelous 94 and young Shaw, who became the youngest player to score a fifty in IPL history with his 62. (Shaw is 18 years and 169 days old).

Meanwhile, the win against Kolkata Knight Riders has helped the DD team to keep their hopes alive for making it to the last four alive. They were at the bottom of the points table before the KKR game, but a change of leader seems to have worked wonders for Delhi Daredevils. Daredevils are now in the seventh position with 2 wins in seven games.
With the magic figure usually 8, DD need to win six of their next seven games to make the all-important cut. But it seems the win against a formidable KKR has set the ball rolling for DD and it is up to them to keep the momentum going deep into the tournament.
