The banned in Indian fast bowler S Sreesanth, in a recent interview with Behindwoods said that MS Dhoni isn’t the actual ‘Thala’ as there’s only one thala in the universe and that is, Ajith Kumar.
Sreesanth said. “I always believe there is only one Thala. Not just in Chennai, but all over the world, there is only one Thala. I’m a huge fan of that Thala. I saw a lot of posters that said Dhoni is our Thala and similar things. But come on, everyone knows that there is only one thala and it is our favorite Ajith Annan.”

He also added, “Rest of them are at a bit lower level. We all respect Dhoni as the captain cool. I am honored to have played under him.”
Sreesanth has been facing a lifetime ban as he was found guilty of match-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013. Subsequently, he was out of cricket and changed his career path to acting in cinema. Sreesanth has been scared of the fact that he has been in the field of cricket and is now shining in a different field.
The video is now going viral on the Internet. While it was heartening for Ajith fans, Dhoni’s fans will get provoked after such statement.
Earlier, the pacer was also upset from Dhoni as the latter has not taken any action to save the pacer in the match-fixing scandal, and that is why Sreesanth is frustrated with Mahi, according to cricket fans.
Sreesanth also posted the video on his Instagram account and his caption read: “#real thallai…our Ajith thallai …#class”.
