Notably, the Mumbai-based players and support staff were initially not allowed to mingle with the rest of the squad members, who came in from different parts of the country, as a precautionary measure. The likes of Kohli, Rahane, Rohit Sharma and Ravi Shastri had to observe room quarantine for 8 days before they could join the team bubble.

BCCI’s official Instagram handle posted a video, where Indian players were seen doing the gym session on Monday.

The caption of the video reads, “Preps in full swing as #TeamIndia sweat it out in the gym ahead of the ICC World Test Championship Final.”
