Currently, one of the most loved Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise KKR is locking horns with the last year’s runners-up SRH at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. After winning the toss, the KKR skipper, Dinesh Karthik decided to bowl first and hence, the SRH opened their innings with David Warner and Jonny Bairstow.

During the toss, Karthik revealed foreign players in the squad as Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Andre Russell, and Lockie Ferguson were playing. On the other hand, SRH decided to go with Warner, Bairstow, Shakib Al Hasan, and Rashid Khan. They had a decent start as none of the Kolkata bowlers were looking in complete control of the game, but Jonny faced a huge blow in the first over of the match itself as he had to change his abdominal guard in the first over itself.

Barstow and Warner added as many as 118 runs for sth opening wicket before the former getting dismissed in the 13th over by Piyush Chawla and soon after that in the 16th over Warner was also dismissed on a personal score of 85 by Andre Russell.

On the final ball of the 16th over of the innings, Uthappa took a superlative catch at cover as Russell bowled a full-length delivery and Warner drove it powerfully from his crease. The shot was so powerful that it was definitely going towards the fence but Uthappa tumbled to his left to grab the ball just inches above the ground. That catch ended some fabulous innings of Warner, who would have gone for a brilliant century.
