The fourth and final Test of the ongoing four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy series between India and Australia is currently going on at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After the visitors posted a huge total of 480 runs in the first innings, India also gave a strong reply and posted 289 runs on the board for the loss of three wickets at the close of Day 3 as well.

But in the morning session of the fourth day’s play, India lost the wicket of their star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja by giving the simple catch to Usman Khawaja, who was fielding inside the 30-yard circle off Todd Murphy’s bowling on the last ball of the 107th over as well. However, it was the third time in the ongoing series that Murphy, who made his Test debut in Nagpur dismissed Jadeja.

However, Jadeja’s dismissal came out of nowhere, as he was looking comfortable and had already scored a boundary in the over earlier as well. After getting out for 28 runs from 84 balls, Jadeja was looking disappointed, but more than him it was former Indian skipper Virat Kohli whose reaction made headlines. Virat was at the non-striker’s end when Ravindra Jadeja played the shot, and he couldn’t believe his eyes as he got out and the video went viral on social media platforms.

However, on day three, Shubman Gill (128) scored his second test century to direct India’s first innings on a batting pitch. India has an unassailable 2-1 lead in this four-match Test series as well. India had already won the first two tests in Nagpur and Delhi, while Australia won the third in Indore as well.
