During the 2nd T20I of the three-match series against South Africa in Mohali, Virat was at his ferocious best when he came into bat after the dismissal of his deputy Rohit Sharma.

Needing 150 to win, the visitors got off to a solid start despite losing Rohit in the powerplay itself. The Indian skipper then added 61 runs with Shikhar Dhawan for the 2nd wicket to put India in a commanding position.
