The ongoing second Test between India and New Zealand has seen a lot of drama so far along with some brilliant cricket too – be it Ajaz Patel’s 10-fer or New Zealand bundling out on 62 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. However, Virat Kohli too joined hands as he hilariously remarked towards the umpire which was caught on the stump mic.

During the 16th over of New Zealand’s second innings, Axar Patel had bowled a skiddy delivery which deceived both the batsman Ross Taylor and the wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha and it went towards the boundary. However, the umpire said that the ball had got an inside edge off Taylor’s bat and he gave runs instead of byes.

And, the decision left the Indian captain Virat Kohli shocked as he could not believe that it had given runs. In a sarcastic tone, Kohli said which was heard on stump mic, “Ye kya karte hain yaar ye log yaar… Main udhar aajata hu tum idhar aajao,” presumably taking a slight dig at the umpires for their decisions throughout the match as well as the umpiring has come under the scanner several times.

On the other hand, Team India are in a strong position after their two innings as they a lead of over 500, one ‘spidercam’ interrupted the game and forced them to take an early break as well. However, it happened a few overs before the tea break at Wankhade Stadium, the cable-suspended camera system malfunctioned. It had dropped down as it was seen hanging a couple of feet above the field near the pitch as well. While the control room failed to get it back up soon, it forced on-field umpires Nitin Menon and Anil Chaudhary to take an early break for tea during the game as well.
