The hosts India and the visitors Windies will start their two-match Test series battle from this Thursday (October 4). The first Test is going to be held at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot (October 4-8) while the second Test will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad (October 12-16).
The no.1 Test ranked team India is going to face the no.8 Test ranked team Windies in this series. Though this series result will not put any direct effect in the ICC Test ranking table, the result can make the important impact in their near future Test ranking positions.
