Windies has levelled the ongoing five-match ODI series against the hosts India by 1-1 after winning the third ODI at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium (Pune) on Saturday night.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli decided to field first after winning the toss. At the end of the first batting, Windies managed to score 283/9 (50 overs). In reply, India was bundled out for 240 runs (47.4 overs) as Windies won this match by 43 runs.

ii) Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah had a bowling figure of 10-1-35-4.

  • Best ODI bowling figure by an Indian pacer against Windies on the Indian soil. The previous record was 9.3-0-36-4 by Mohammed Shami at Delhi on October 11, 2014.
  • The second best ODI bowling figure by an Indian bowler against Windies on the Indian soil. The record is 6.1-2-12-6 by Anil Kumble at Kolkata on November 27, 1993.
  • The third best ODI bowling figure by an Indian pacer against Windies.

iii) Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored 107 runs. It was his third consecutive ODI centuries.

  • First ever captain to score three consecutive ODI centuries.
  • First Indian batsman to score three consecutive ODI centuries.
  • 10th overall batsman to score three consecutive ODI centuries.
