Former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni has turned 39 on Tuesday and some of his former and current teammates left no stone unturned in coming up with birthday greetings for Mahi. The players like Virender Sehwag and Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina, Kuldeep Yadav, and VVS Laxman were among the first to wish Dhoni on his special day.
However, someone like Jadhav going one step forward as he wrote a heartfelt letter for his “best friend, teammate, and captain”.Apart from the cricketers, Dhoni’s fans also came forward in wishing India’s 2011 World Cup-winning skipper.

Jadhav’s letter for Dhoni was quite a sensation, garnering over 1,000 retweets and over 4,000 likes in no time. The Indian all-rounder said, “A small try to make your birthday little more special. My best friend, teammate and captain, Happy Birthday Mahi Bhai”.

The flamboyant Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya termed MS as “Bittu” and thanked the former Indian skipper for “standing by me in bad times”. Tweeting about the same, Pandya wrote: “Happy birthday to my Bittu from your Chittu. My friend who has taught me to be a better human being and stood by me in bad times @msdhoni”.

Dhoni’s CSK teammate Suresh Raina went on to share a video on Twitter for one of his favorite human and he captioned it as: “Here’s wishing a very Happy Birthday @msdhoni 🇮🇳✅☝️! to one of my favorite human, brother & a leader I could ever ask for! Dhoni played his last international game in July 2019, when India suffered an unforgettable loss against New Zealand in the semi-final of the World Cup. He was scheduled to make a comeback to competitive cricket during the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
