Wolf Blass is the new wine partner of ICC

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has signed a new three-year deal with leading Australian winemaker Wolf Blass. In the result, Wolf Blass is now the Official Wine Partner of 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup and 2020 ICC World T20.

On Tuesday, ICC announced their new partnership deal with Wolf Blass.

Campbell Jamieson, the ICC General Manager – Commercial, said, “As one of the world’s most celebrated sports, we’re delighted to partner with Wolf Blass, one of the world’s most celebrated and awarded wineries. The global reach of the ICC’s events means we can provide Wolf Blass with an outstanding platform to showcase the breadth of their portfolio.

“The success of the partnership last summer in the UK at the ICC Champions Trophy and the opportunities that lie ahead with the ICC Cricket World Cup and the ICC World T20 gives us the chance to cement a great partnership.”

The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup will be played in England from May 30 to July 14. Total 10 teams will participate in this competition.

On the other hand, Australia will host the 2020 ICC World T20 from October 18 to November 15. Total 16 teams will participate in this tournament.

Wolf Blass will celebrate their new partnership ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup by releasing a range of limited edition labels along with a UK promotion where the fans can get a golden chance to win a ticket of 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup final.
