Indian Test wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha has recently come with a tweet where he has requested to everyone to avoid some baseless rumours but he hasn’t clarified about the subject of that tweet.
On Saturday, the 34-year-old Indian Test wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha came with a tweet where he wrote, “There are some baseless rumours doing the rounds. Requesting all of you to avoid such news, there are no truths to it.”

For a long time, Saha is facing the fitness issues. Since the beginning of previous calendar year (2018), Saha is struggling continuously to maintain his match-fitness level as he is facing various injuries in quick time. While he had a hamstring injury during last South Africa in early 2018, he picked a thumb injury during the IPL 2018 and later he faced a serious shoulder injury that needed surgery in Manchester.

Since the last May, the Qualifier 2 of IPL 2018, Saha hasn’t played any professional cricket match till the date. Currently, he is in the rehabilitation period.

Currently, in India, many baseless rumours are spreading on daily basis. So, Saha’s recent tweet has put in confusion to everyone about the subject. However, it can be a general information tweet but there is a rumour has been spread in the recent times about Saha and that’s why it has brought more confusion.
Recently, some media reports have claimed that the Bengal wicketkeeper-batsman Saha had requested to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to get train under Vijay Yadav at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Since the regular NCA wicketkeeping coach Abhay Sharma is currently spending the time with the India A cricket team, Saha made this request.

The 51-year-old former Haryana wicketkeeper Vijay Yadav, who played only Test and 19 ODIs for the Indian cricket team between 1992 and 1994, is a wicketkeeping coach.

However, the reports added that the BCCI had turned down that request and claimed that Saha could train under the NCA visiting wicketkeeping coach Kiran More.
