On Wednesday, India wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha has reunited with his family after recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Saha, who was in self-isolation after getting affected by the coronavirus, has finally tested negative twice in his quarantine period.
The SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) player had earlier tested positive on May 4, the day when the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The announcement came right after many players and staff members had infected by the COVID-19 despite being inside the IPL bio-bubble.
Meanwhile, after recovering, Wriddhiman Saha has met his wife, Romi, and children. He shared a photo on Instagram with the caption in it “Feels great to back with fam!.”

However, earlier on Tuesday, Saha has confirmed on Twitter that he had already recovered from COVID-19 “Thanks for all your wishes,” he shared this in his tweet. Saha has played two matches for SRH in the IPL 2021 and he has scored just eight runs as well. Notably, Hyderabad had a rather forgettable tour in the season as they finished at the bottom of the Indian Premier League points table with just one win in their name from seven matches as well.
However, he is also added to the Indian squad that is all set to tour England next month. There India will first play against New Zealand in the final of the inaugural World Test Champions (WTC) on June 18 in Southampton. And, after that, India will take on England in a five-match Test series, which is all set to begin on August 4 and the first Test will take place at Trent Bridge in Nottingham as well.

The second Test will begin on August 12 and it will take place at Lord’s. While the third match will be played at Headingley in Leeds from August 25, the fourth game will be placed from September 2 at Kennington Oval, London. However, the final Test (September 10) of the series will take place at Old Trafford in Manchester as well.
