As per his daughter, her father is a superman and holds the belief that he is strong enough to beat the disease. He said on Twitter that the picture means the world to him and also thanked everyone for their good wishes. The experienced keeper-batsman is currently in quarantine like Amit Mishra, Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warrier, and Michael Hussey who all have been affected by the virus.

Meanwhile, Wriddhiman Saha, as well as his franchise SunRisers Hyderabad have had a poor show this season where they ended at the bottom of the points table with one win from their seven games until the competition’s cancellation.

However, Saha had scored 214 runs in four innings with two fifties last season which came at a strike rate of 139.87 while opening the innings for SRH. This season he could manage only eight runs in two matches and Jonny Bairstow soon replaced him and did quite well too.

However, SRH took a sudden decision of replacing the regular captain  David Warner with Kane Williamson after having faced a poor show for a long time in IPL 2021. However, it made no difference to their performance as they lost the same against Rajasthan Royals under Williamson too before the league got cancelled or an indefinite time period amid the crunch time of COVID-19 in Indian.
