India and SunRisers Hyderabad’s wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha was one of the players who was affected by the deadly second wave of the COVID-19 virus. However, it was Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals’ Amit Mishra’s news of testing positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday that led the BCCI to take the sudden call of postponing the IPL 2021 with immediate effect.
However, Saha’s daughter has recently sketched an adorable picture for him as the veteran continues to recover from the disease. And, he took to his Twitter handle and shared the picture of his daughter’s sketch that showed a diagram of the virus and a superman.

As per his daughter, her father is a superman and holds the belief that he is strong enough to beat the disease. He said on Twitter that the picture means the world to him and also thanked everyone for their good wishes. The experienced keeper-batsman is currently in quarantine like Amit Mishra, Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warrier, and Michael Hussey who all have been affected by the virus.

Meanwhile, Wriddhiman Saha, as well as his franchise SunRisers Hyderabad have had a poor show this season where they ended at the bottom of the points table with one win from their seven games until the competition’s cancellation.

However, Saha had scored 214 runs in four innings with two fifties last season which came at a strike rate of 139.87 while opening the innings for SRH. This season he could manage only eight runs in two matches and Jonny Bairstow soon replaced him and did quite well too.
However, SRH took a sudden decision of replacing the regular captain David Warner with Kane Williamson after having faced a poor show for a long time in IPL 2021. However, it made no difference to their performance as they lost the same against Rajasthan Royals under Williamson too before the league got cancelled or an indefinite time period amid the crunch time of COVID-19 in Indian.
