Mumbai Indians (MI) star batter, Suryakumar Yadav failed to bring the best out of himself in the run-chase against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. The flamboyant batsman who used to display a barrage of shots across the park was nowhere to be seen on a wicket that proved to be much more favorable for the bowlers.
The right-handed batter took some time to get settled at the crease and before he could access the conditions, he ended up throwing his wicket away. Yash Thakur made a complete mess of the batsman’s stumps. The 31-year-old misjudged the line and then paid the price. He scored seven runs off nine balls and only managed to maintain a strike rate of 77.78 and had a bad day at the office against Lucknow Super Giants.
