The memorable moment came on the penultimate delivery of the fourth over during Zimbabwe’s chase of 193. Thakur fired in a sharp 143 kmph short-of-a-length delivery that hurried Raza into an awkward shot. Attempting to work the ball towards the leg side, the Zimbabwe skipper only managed a leading edge.

Reacting instantly on his follow-through, Thakur flung himself to his left and completed a stunning one-handed catch, leaving Raza stunned as he walked back without troubling the scorers. The wicket capped a dream over for the Indian pacer. On the previous delivery, Thakur had removed Dion Myers with a cleverly disguised slower ball.
