Rajasthan Royals (RR), under the captaincy of Sanju Samson, went through one of their most successful seasons in the history of the Indian Premier League. They finished as runners-up in the recently concluded IPL season. RR was the team to beat throughout the league stage as they managed to register 9 wins in the 14 league matches that they featured in.
RR finished at No. 2 in the points tally at the conclusion of the league stage of the IPL 2022. Yuzvendra Chahal, The marquee leg-spinner was warded with the purple cap as he was the leading wicket-taker in the season of the IPL. The leggie has massive contribution in taking Rajasthan to the Finals.

Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal, the opener of RR opened up on his ambitions of playing for the country in a recent interaction with the Times of India. The left-hander went on to reveal that he wants to be the world’s best all-rounder. The 20-year-old had a severe impact on Rajasthan at the top of the innings. Jaiswal managed to score 258 runs at an average of 25 with a massive strike rate of 133.3 in the 10 matches that he featured in.
Describing the same and his conversation with Yuzvendra Chahal, Yashaswi Jaiswal said, “He (Chahal) is a mystery man. He is also a legend in his department. He has a number of Variations. He plays chess very well.”

He further added, “I talked to him and have taken bowling tips. He told me that I can be a good all-rounder. I told him that I want to be World’s best I want to be the best in both the departments – batting and bowling.”
