Rohit Sharma is known for his forgetful nature, and that has led to some funny moments on several occasions as well. Former India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar recently shared another such incident about his habit of forgetting things.
Nayar also revealed how a 17-year-old Sharma once came to the stadium for an important match without his kit bag and later gave an excuse for it as well.

The 42-year-old said on Sony’s new show, Family Full House With Rohit Sharma: “You all know that Rohit is forgetful. I will tell you where this story started in cricket. He was a youngster and got selected for the first time in Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy team. It was an important match; our friend, who was just 17 at the time, came to the stadium for the match without his kit bag. Yeh shaatir tab se the (He was smart since then). When asked about his kit bag, he said, ‘I was coming by train, someone pushed me, and the kit bag fell outside.'”

However, Nayar will feature in the first episode of Sharma’s new game show. He will be joined by Shardul Thakur and Shreyas Iyer. It will begin on September 19 and will mark the star cricketer’s hosting debut as well. On the cricketing front, Team India are playing against Afghanistan in a three-match T20I series in Delhi as well.
