The 43rd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 featured a clash between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Ekana Sports City Stadium in Lucknow. However, more so than Bangalore’s win, the heated verbal spat between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir grabbed everyone’s attention.
After RCB registered a comfortable 18-run win over LSG, Kohli, and Gambhir got engaged in a verbal altercation over the former RCB skipper constantly calling out Lucknow batters during the run chase. With many experts and former cricketers giving their take on the verbal spat between Kohli and Gambhir, many opined that the two stalwarts of the game should come together and work out their differences. However, former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter and gave a hilarious take on the altercation.

After the heated altercation between Kohli and Gambhir in Lucknow, Gautam Gambhir still felt the heat from the fans. In Lucknow’s last game against the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK), several fans chanted Kohli’s name and directed it towards Gambhir.
The 41-year-old was climbing the stairs of the stadium when he noticed the fans chanting Kohli’s name. The Lucknow mentor gave a death stare to the fans before he reached the venue of the game. Furthermore, he also got into an online feud with journalist Rajat Sharma on Twitter.
