Former Indian all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh took a slight dig at ex-England captain Kevin Pietersen after the latter posted a tweet slamming the media in his country while referring to Chelsea and Manchester United’s situation in the ongoing season of the Premier League. Pietersen is a big Chelsea fan while Yuvraj is known for supporting Manchester United in English football’s premier competition.
Chelsea are currently placed 8th on the EPL table with 29 points from 19 games while Man United top the league with 40 points. Tweeting about the same, Pietersen wrote: “Chelsea top of the premier league a month or so ago, now media after Lampard! Media after Ole a few months ago and now Utd top of the league so he’s ok! Dealing with media in this country is as tough as the actual job!”.

Yuvraj was quick to reply on the tweet: “R u hurting baby,” the all-rounder questioned. And after that, Kevin Pietersen chipped in with, “Nah. My buddy in the firing line. From absolute clowns that wish they sat in his chair!”

Yuvraj and Pietersen have been known for trolling each other on social media at every given opportunity with conversations varying from cricket to football. Yuvraj Singh announced retirement from all forms of the game in 2019, two years after playing his final game for Team India against the West Indies in North Sound.
Yuvi played 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20 Internationals for India from 2003 to 2017. He had amassed as many as 8,701 runs at an average of 36.55 in ODIs with 14 hundreds and 52 half-centuries and took 111 wickets at 38.68 apiece.

Both Yuvraj and Pietersen recently featured in the brand-new gladiatorial cricket series called Ultimate Kricket Challenge (UKC) tournament. The 16-match tournament saw see the introduction of new cricket rules in a new one-on-one format. Besides Yuvraj, Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen and Rashid Khan also were seen taking part in the inaugural season of the tournament that ran from December 24 to January 1.
