The Indian cricket team has returned home after a disappointing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, where they lost the series 1-3, surrendering the prestigious title for the first time in a decade. With the Australian tour behind them, the team now looks forward to hosting England for a five-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series, serving as vital preparation for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.

The squad for the T20I series against England has been announced, and notable absentee Rishabh Pant, who impressed with a brilliant knock in the fifth and final Test in Sydney, has been rested. The wicketkeeper-batter, often a standout performer in challenging situations, is taking some well-earned downtime.

Rishabh Pant recently took to social media to share pictures of himself dressed sharply in formals and a blazer. While his fans showered the post with compliments, it was former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh who stole the limelight with a witty comment. Referring humorously to Pant’s surname, Yuvraj Singh quipped, “Half (pant emoji) s,” sparking laughter among fans.
