Yuvraj Singh’s Social Media Post Stirs Mixed Reactions Among Netizens

Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer, has been actively engaging with fans on social media, sharing his thoughts on various cricket-related topics and extending birthday wishes to fellow players. Recently, he expressed his concerns about India’s middle-order issues and highlighted that if the leaks and gaps in the team are not addressed, they may not be considered favorites for the upcoming marquee event. Yuvraj Singh voiced his frustration about India’s inability to win a World Cup in recent years.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Yuvraj Singh shared a story featuring actress Kathryn Newton, known for her role in the movie “Ant-Man.” The picture of them together quickly gained attention on social media. Yuvraj looked dashing in a blue blazer paired with blue jeans, while Kathryn Newton struck a pose for the photograph.

However, some netizens found Yuvraj Singh’s caption for the picture “unappealing.” He had written, “How many shots are you giving me today? @kathrynnewton.” While some users believed the caption was blown out of proportion, others felt that Yuvraj should not have used such a caption, considering he is already married to Hazel Keech.

Interestingly, some users turned the post into a joke on social media. Despite the mixed response to his post, Yuvraj Singh’s contributions to Indian cricket have been commendable. He was one of the greatest match-winners during his cricketing career, particularly shining in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2011. Yuvraj scored 362 runs and took 15 wickets in the tournament, rightfully earning the Player of the Tournament award.

Throughout his career, Yuvraj amassed 8,701 runs in ODIs, 1,900 runs in Tests, and 1,177 runs in T20Is. He recorded three centuries and eleven fifties in Tests, along with fourteen centuries and fifty-two fifties in ODIs. Additionally, he accounted for 111 dismissals in ODIs, 28 dismissals in T20Is, and 9 wickets in Tests.
