The much-discussed divorce saga between YouTuber Dhanashree Verma and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has finally reached its conclusion. After months of speculation and public scrutiny, the couple appeared at the Bandra family court for the final settlement talks, where the marriage was officially dissolved.
Yuzvendra Chahal’s lawyer confirmed the end of their marriage, stating, “The divorce is done, and the marriage has been dissolved.” The development follows the Mumbai High Court’s ruling, which set the terms of alimony and instructed the family court to finalize the case by March 21, given Chahal’s tight schedule ahead of the IPL 2025 season.
Arriving separately at the court, both Chahal and Dhanashree faced the final legal proceedings that would officially mark the end of their union. While the court typically suggests a six-month cooling-off period for reconsideration, the urgency of the matter, due to Chahal’s cricketing commitments, led to an expedited resolution.

The court directed a swift settlement, ensuring that the process concluded before the IPL season kicked off. As part of the settlement, Yuzvnedra Chahal is set to pay a total alimony of ₹4.75 crores to Dhanashree. Reports indicate that the first instalment of ₹2.37 crores has already been processed. While the financial aspects of the separation have been addressed, the emotional toll and public scrutiny both parties endured cannot be overlooked.

The couple tied the knot in December 2020, but by 2022, cracks began to appear in their relationship, leading to their decision to live separately.
