Ever since making his debut in 2016, Yuzvendra Chahal has become one of the crucial spinners for the Indian team in limited-overs cricket. And, just like his decisive deliveries, Chahal is also lethal with his witty one-liners on social media.
While his teammates are busy in teh ongoing Test series in South Africa, the skinny leggie is training in Bangalore to prepare for the limited-overs series against the Proteas.
Yuzvendra was working out in the gym when he shared a short video of his routine on Instagram. His post read: “Make each day count. Get better everyday.”

Soon after his post, Chahal’s RCB teammate Tabraiz Shamsi couldn’t help but comment on the video, he wrote, “Oh my gosh! Is thisn @yuzi_chahal23 or @chrisgayle333??”
In reply, Chahal wrote: “I lift heavier than @chrisgayle333. This is my warm-up set @shamsi90”. And, then, Chris Gayle also joined teh conversation as the ‘Universe Boss’ replied: “Wtf. Kill me”.
After Gayle and Shamsi, Team India’s fielding coach Ramakrishnan Sridhar also joined the conversation and said: “The dumbbells seem too light for your strength!! Add a few kgs mate”.
