From replacing Sanju Samson as the captain of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to asking fans to retweet his post if they want to see him open the batting alongside Jos Buttler, Yuzvendra Chahal seems to be enjoying his time with the Royals. Chahal took over as the admin of the RR Twitter handle for a while last week and tweeted some hilarious content.

On March 16, Yuzvendra Chahal had posted a picture on Twitter of him batting for India from RR’s Twitter handle and captioned it saying “10,000 retweets and he will open with @josbuttler uncle”. This had happened before Buttler had joined the Royals’ camp. When he was shown the video at the time of his arrival, RR’s original admin, shared Buttler’s reaction to the tweets by Chahal with the caption reading: “Jos bhai is here and his reaction is GOLD!”

Yuzvendra Chahal doesn’t have access to RR’s Twitter account anymore, but he’s still giving some engaging content to the fans. In a video shared by RR on March 24, Chahal is seen asking Buttler to open the batting with him. He said: “Joshy bhai, come open with me.”. Jos turned to Chahal when he called out his name, but as soon as Chahal asked his question, Buttler held his head in disguise. The fun part of the incident was Jimmy Neesham’s reaction to the moment between Jos and Chahal.

Meanwhile, the fun banter started when RR shared a video of Yuzvendra Chahal reciting a food order for his wife Dhanashree. Chahal commented on the video saying he’d take revenge and hack the account. A few moments later, he shared a picture of himself from the RR hotel room and wrote “hahahaha ab aayega maza. Thanks for the password @JakeLushMcCrum”. Post that, he left the RR fans quite perplexed.

Meanwhile, the Royals, who haven’t been successful at making the playoffs since 2018, will kick-off their IPL 2022 campaign on March 29 at the MCA Stadium in Pune and will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening game.
