The IPL 2021 got suspended when players from KKR, SRH and DC produced positive results for the virus. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) then took the call on the league and decided to suspend the season indefinitely.
It is still not clear when the league will resume and the remaining 31 games will be played. However, if the speculations are to be believed, IPL 2021 will not be played in India. Sri Lanka, UAE and England are the potential contenders to host the remainder of the league.
