Yuzvendra Chahal was fired up after dismissing Nicholas Pooran in Punjab Kings’ IPL 2025 clash against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium on Tuesday, April 1. The seasoned spinner, known for his animated celebrations, took things a notch higher as he was caught on camera using some choice words after removing the dangerous Pooran.

Pooran, who had been in sublime form, was closing in on his third consecutive half-century when Chahal struck in the 12th over. The left-hander was batting fluently and looked set to take LSG past the 170-run mark, but Chahal had other plans.
On the third delivery of the over, Chahal bowled a well-disguised googly outside the off stump. Pooran, looking to launch it over long-off, mistimed his shot, sending the ball high into the Lucknow sky. Glenn Maxwell, stationed near the boundary, judged it to perfection and took a safe catch, sending the southpaw back for 44.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s breakthrough left LSG in a tricky spot at 89/4, forcing them to rebuild. However, young Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad steadied the innings with a composed partnership. Their efforts helped Lucknow post a competitive 171/7 in their allotted 20 overs.
