Indian cricket fans received an unexpected late-night treat when Yuzvendra Chahal hopped onto an Instagram Live session with Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh. What started as a casual chat soon turned into a viral moment, thanks to Chahal’s trademark humour and his completely relatable presence—wrapped comfortably in a blanket, as if inviting the nation into his living room.

During the fun-filled conversation, the trio exchanged playful banter, but it was Chahal who stole the spotlight. With a grin on his face and his blanket wrapped around him like armour, he joked, “In life, no wife… only blanket. Only razai, no lugai.” The light-hearted line had Bishnoi and Arshdeep in splits, and social media erupted with laughter.
The conversation flowed naturally, and Chahal soon shifted gears, advising Arshdeep that he “should get married now.” The young left-arm pacer, never one to hold back, shot back with equal wit, asking whether Chahal didn’t enjoy seeing him relaxed and happy.

Yauzvendra Chahal’s reply, however, sparked an even bigger storm online. Taking a friendly dig at the trend of alimony discussions dominating social media, he quipped, “Looks like your bank balance is enough now.” The remark instantly became the highlight of the session.

But behind the humour lies a difficult phase in Chahal’s life. The leg-spinner’s marriage to Dhanashree Verma officially ended in March 2025 after a long period of separation. As part of the settlement, he agreed to pay INR 4.75 crore, with the couple citing the pressures of demanding careers and limited time together as major factors leading to the split.
Despite his personal struggles, Chahal’s focus on cricket remains unwavering. He recently represented Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025 opener against Puducherry, picking up 2 for 46 in four overs. Though Haryana lost by five runs, Chahal showed glimpses of the skill that once made him a regular match-winner for India. With 217 international wickets to his name, he continues to chase one final comeback, staying motivated as a key member of the PBKS squad in the IPL.

Meanwhile, Ravi Bishnoi finds himself at a crossroads after being released by Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2026 auction following an underwhelming season. Arshdeep Singh, on the other hand, is gearing up for India’s upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa starting November 30. Although he has played only 11 ODIs so far, his left-arm angle, swing, and control make him a crucial long-term prospect—especially with the 2027 ODI World Cup expected to favour pace bowlers.
As the Instagram session proved, cricket isn’t just about matches—it’s about moments, laughter, friendships, and the human stories behind the game.
