Former India bowler and current captain of Delhi Daredevils, Zaheer Khan, has entered a new innings off the field. The 38-year old left-arm fast-medium bowler has announced his engagement to the world via Twitter.
Zaheer has got engaged to bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge. Sagarika is best remembered for her role of Preeti Sabarwal in the 2007 superhit movie Chak de! India. She is also a regular spectator in Delhi Daredevils’ IPL matches in this season.
Zaheer-led Daredevils have is on the sixth position at the points table. The franchise has won only a couple of out of the six matches that they have played. Zaheer has featured in 95 IPL matches so far. His 99 wickets have come at an average of 26.85 and an economy rate of 7.60.
