Legendary Indian pacer Zaheer Khan, who shares a blissful married life with actress Sagarika Ghatge, has recently stepped into a new phase of life—fatherhood. The couple welcomed a baby boy, and the former left-arm speedster couldn’t be prouder. Now working as a mentor for IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Zaheer recently had a warm moment in Lucknow where he caught up with Virat Kohli and introduced his newborn to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star.

In a wholesome clip shared by LSG on X (formerly Twitter), Zaheer Khan is seen sharing photos of his baby with Kohli. “Yeh dekh. Mr Fatehsinh,” said Zaheer with a smile, to which Kohli responded warmly, asking, “Kispe gaya hai?” (Who does he look like?). Kohli then smiled and added, “His eyes are just like you,” a heartfelt moment between two cricket greats.

While the emotional exchange melted hearts, the IPL moves swiftly toward its climax. LSG, led by Rishabh Pant, are out of the playoff race and will play their final league game against RCB on Tuesday. For LSG, it’s a chance to finish their season on a positive note. For RCB, the stakes are much higher.

Having already sealed a playoff berth, RCB now aim for a top-two finish to avoid the eliminator route. The advantage? Two shots at reaching the final. If they miss out, the path gets tougher: a knockout in the Eliminator, followed by another in Qualifier 2.
