The message on the signed Argentina jersey read “Para Ziva” (For Ziva) while the post was captioned as “Like father, like daughter!”. Notably, Argentina registered a 4-2 win over France 4-2 on penalties to end their 36-year-long wait for holding the coveted prize. The three-time world champions are also the holders of the Copa America title, having beaten arch-rivals Brazil 1-0 in the final in July last year.

Apart from his acrobatic wicketkeeping skills, MS Dhoni is also known for his love for biking and football. In fact, before finding his true calling in cricket, Ranchi gloveman was a football lover and wanted to become a goalkeeper.

The veteran wicket-keeper batter can also be seen giving everyone a run for their money during celebrity and charity football matches. Dhoni is also one of the co-owners of the Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Chennaiyin FC.

The 2011 World Cup winner will next be seen in action in IPL 2023, which is likely to get underway in March. He will once again be leading the Chennai Super Kings in a quest for a record-equaling fifth IPL crown.

It also remains to be seen for how long MS Dhoni will keep playing competitive cricket as he will be turning 42 next July. Meanwhile, CSK has roped in star England all-rounder Ben Stokes for a phenomenal amount of INR 16.25 crore for the upcoming season. The move could be a part of the franchise’s long-term vision of appointing Dhoni’s successor going forward.
