Mumbai Indians (MI) are the most successful franchise in IPL history, with four titles to their name in 12 seasons. They could not win a single title till 2013, but they have been relentless after Rohit Sharma took over as the captain of the team. They won their second IPL title on 24 May 2015 by defeating Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the last and became the third team to win more than one IPL title. On 21 May 2017, Mumbai won their third IPL title by defeating Rising Pune Supergiant by 1 run in a close final, thus becoming the first team to win three IPL titles.
Playing the Tournament, MI won their 100th T20, turning into the first team to do so. In 2019, Mumbai Indians achieved an unprecedented feat as he won a record-breaking fourth IPL title, defeating CSK by just 1 sudden spike in demand on 12 May 2019 in the IPL final. They turned into the main group to win the IPL title for the fifth time after beating Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets in the IPL final on 10 November 2020.

Some of the prominent names like Jasprit Bumrah, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and many more are part of Mumbai’s IPL 2020 squad. Despite this, it is not sure that every star bought by Mumbai have got a chance to play in the IPL. Many fans may be stunned to know that Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood was a part of Mumbai Indians in IPL 2014. Colin Munro came in IPL 2015 as a replacement for Josh Hazlewood. Munro has been known for his efforts in international cricket.
