In a sport like cricket, everything is possible for a player irrespective of the specialism he’s known for. Earlier, scoring a double century in an ODI looked like an impossible thing but Sachin Tendulkar became the first batsman managed to surpass the milestone back in 2010 against South Africa and made that thing realistically possible.

Afterward, many international players managed to score a double hundred in an ODI inning like Rohit Sharma (208*, 209 and 264), Martin Guptill (237*), Virender Sehwag (219) and others. Now, everyone’s eyes are set on which player will come and smack a triple century in the 50-over format.

In live interaction on Helo App with a journalist, Sreesanth was asked to pick a batsman from international cricket, who holds the ability, skill set, and caliber to score a triple century in an ODI. His question read, “Who is the likely candidate to score a triple century in ODIs?.

Sreesanth took a small pause and said in his opinion KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are the two batsmen who have the ability to achieve that impossible-looking streak. Meanwhile, he also felt that Ben Stokes is one of the overseas cricketers, who might also manage to do so, he said,  “Maybe Virat Kohli, KL Rahul. Ben Stokes also have a chance.”

Meanwhile, there was another question to pick his favorite Indian skipper. Everyone had an expectation that he might select MS Dhoni, who helped Team India in winning two ICC World Cups – (One T20 World Cup and an ODI World Cup) – but that was not the case. However, the Kerala pacer took the name of former Indian skipper, Kapil Dev, who led Team India to their maiden ODI World Cup trophy back in 1983.
