The cricketing fraternity poured in their wishes for a speedy recovery after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president and former Indian skipper, Sourav Ganguly suffered a mid-heart-attack because of which he had to undergo a primary angioplasty in Kolkata after suffering “chest discomfort while doing treadmill at his home gym”.
According to the reports of the hospital, they informed that the former Indian skipper is now stable and conscious following the procedure. He had a critical blockage in one artery which has been fixed.

The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli led the wishes for Ganguly, tagging the BCCI president, Virat tweeted, “Praying for your speedy recovery. Get well soon”. “Just got to know about your ailment Sourav. Hope each passing day brings you closer to a full and speedy recovery! Get well soon,” legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar tweeted.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) also wished for a speedy recovery of Ganguly, they wrote: “Former India captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild cardiac arrest earlier today. He is now in a stable condition”.

On the other hand, former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag tweeted: “Dada , jaldi se theek hone ka. Praying for your quick and speedy recovery @SGanguly99”.
