Ravindra Jadeja is a player who is hard to be kept out of the game. If doesn’t get you with the bat he will get you with his fielding. And if he doesn’t get you with his fielding, then, surely, he will get you with his bowling. The latter was the case tonight against Rajasthan Royals. Jos Buttler was looking all set to the game away but Jadeja outfoxed him with a beauty.

Then came Ravindra Jadeja. He put his failure with the bat behind and dismissed Buttler with a beauty of a delivery. The ball was on the good length in-line with middle and off, got some grip and turn off the pitch and squared Buttler, who was nearing his fifty.

Jadeja dismissed Shivam Dube in the same over to turn the game on its head. Rajasthan Royals couldn’t gather themselves again and crumble under the pressure of a high score. Only Buttler looked playing with intent and his other teammates fell like nine pins.
Jadeja registered match figures of 2 for 28 in four overs.
Earlier, CSK was put in to bat after losing the toss and scored a mammoth total of 188/9 in 20 overs. Faf du Plessis was the highest scorer for them with quickfire 33 runs. Chetan Sakaria has another memorable evening as he took three wickets, which includes MS Dhoni’s prized wicket as well.

In the chase, RR looked out of mojo and couldn’t pose many fights. Their innings got winded up on 143 in 20 overs. After Buttler’s 49, Jayadev Unadkat’s 24 was the next best score, which defines the match. In the end, RR fell 45 runs short of the original target.
