KL Rahul Was Accompanied By Athiya Shetty For The UK Tour

There have been a lot of rumors spreading regarding the relationship of the Indian cricketer, KL Rahul, and Athiya Shetty. Both of them haven’t made any official announcement yet, however, there have been a plethora of instances where one can find this to be true. Now one more addition has been made to this. Since the ongoing tour of India in the UK is going to last for another couple of months, BCCI has allowed the Indian cricketers to have members with them.

Following this KL Rahul had declared Athiya as his partner in the documents submitted to the logistics team according to a report published in Hindustan Times. One of their recent reports suggests, “The couple left India together for England for the World Test Championship last month. Before leaving, the logistics department had asked all players for names of people traveling with each of them.”

The Bollywood diva Athiya has been reported to have been in the same bio bubble as KL Rahul during the World Test Championship and was alongside the Indian team in Southampton. Both of them have shared quite a few pictures recently on their social media handles. However, they haven’t posted anything about each other.

Their common friend Sonali Fabiani has turned out to be the lead in this. She was spotted wearing the same red puffer jacket in both the pictures. With all these common elements, fans can expect an official announcement from the couple in near future.

The right-handed Batsman is currently missing the cricketing action. He didn’t get the chance to feature in India’s playing 11 for the WTC final. He would be eyeing for his spot during the England series. Reports are depicting that he is in line to replace Shubman Gill as an opener after the latter suffering an injury. It would be interesting to see how he performs once given the chance.
