The Indian wicket-keeper batsman, Sanju Samson made his debut in international cricket against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2015. Since then, he has been in and out of the Indian team. Currently, he is with the Indian team for the upcoming limited-overs Sri Lanka series. Team India will be locking horns with Sri Lanka in three ODIs followed by three T20Is.
The ODI series will get underway on July 18. All fixtures will kick off at R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. On the other hand, the T20I series will kick off on July 25. This will be a very important tour for Sanju Samson. He will be looking forward to proving his worth on the cricketing field. Under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian team had two intrasquad practice matches.
