Currently, Delhi Capitals (DC) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are locking horns with each other in the 1st qualifier of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bowl first citing not many changes in the conditions in the latter half of the game and DC managed to reach a total of 172 in their quota of 20 over. During the 2nd innings, former DC skipper, Shreyas Iyer displayed fielding masterclass as he took a couple of brilliant catches and effected a run-out.
Shreyas Iyer was electrifying on the field especially in the 14th and 15th over of the chase. On the third ball of the 14th over, Iyer completed a brilliant catch at long-on. When he was about to fall across the rope, Shreyas Iyer popped the ball in the air in time and got beyond the boundary only to come back finish the catch cleanly in the end.

On the ball of the same over, Shreyas Iyer took another brilliant catch to send back, Shardul Thakur on a duck. Tom Curran delivered a back-of-a-hand slower ball and Thakur simply looked to swing his bat and Iyer looked in action against him as he completed another catch.

In teh very next over, Shreyas Iyer fired a throw to Rabada at the bowler’s end, and Capitals managed to send back Amabti Rayud cheaply. Rayudu’s bat was well short of the crease as Rabada clipped the bails. It was a slower ball on a short of a length on off, and Ruturaj Gaikwad pulled that over midwicket, and Iyer at long-on rushed to his right and launched that throw bang to the bowler.
